Weird to have suspicious responses to Joe's simple request. I don't
see any issue with exposing weaknesses of Stata. Then they get solved
or you know you need another package that can do the trick.
Recently, Joe Hilbe said he was going to make a site devoted to
statistics additions he has authored.
His question is probably related to that, and maybe he plans
additions to Stata he has written or might write to be placed there
if not at ssc. Either way, your repertoire increases if you can't
program solutions yourselves.
