Dear Hans J. Baumgartner,
you should check out <eret2> (ssc d eret2). This command allows you to add
additional results to the e() returns list. It works fine for locals,
scalars and matrices. Then, you can use the "stats" option of <estout> to
add any additional information included in the extended e() return list.
