Hi All

I need help interpreting the svypoisson output when
exposure option is used.

If my model is

svypoisson absdays age00 female Black Hispanic
lessthanhighschool somecollege college graduateschool
single bluecollar service nohealthinsurance
nounioncontract , exposure(refper)

Where the dependent variable "absdays" is absenteeism
days and exposure variable "refper" is number of days
in the study.

Since we are adjusting for the exposure period, the
dependent variable is no longer in days but is a rate,
am I right? So, the question is what does the
coefficients mean?

For example- if the coefficient for "Black" is +0.356,
how do we interpret?

Thank you for your time.

Regards
