Dear Andre,
Download http://www.stata.com/support/updates/stata7/ado/ado.sea.hqx to
your Desktop. Unstuff the file. There should be a folder named "newado"
on your Desktop.
Assuming that your startup drive is named "Macintosh HD", from Stata, type
update from ":Macintosh HD:Users:myaccount:Desktop:newado:"
Where myaccount is your username.
