There has been extensive discussion of the performance of -gllamm- under
various setups and platforms. During these discussions, some have expressed
the desire for -gllamm- to be sped up and/or adopted by StataCorp and made
official.
I just wanted to assure everyone that the area of mixed models in general,
including -gllamm-, is a top priority in StataCorp's development plans.
