st: Australian & New Zealand Stata Users' Group meeting

This is a preliminary notice [in time for you to make a note in the 
inevitable Xmas gift calendars] that the first Australian and New Zealand 
Stata Users Group meeting will be held in Adelaide, South Australia in 
October 2004.

The meeting will be held in conjunction with the Annual Scientific meeting 
of the Australasian Epidemiological Association, which is scheduled for 
Monday and Tuesday October 11 & 12, 2004.  The Stata Users meeting will 
most likely be held on the Sunday just prior to the AEA meeting, that is on 
October 10, 2004.  Although the ANZSUG meeting is being held in association 
with the AEA meeting, _all_ users of Stata, whatever their discipline, are 
most welcome to attend and contribute.  Naturally, users from outside 
Australia and New Zealand are also very welcome, and if you ever needed an 
excuse to holiday in Australia/NZ, it doesn't get much more compelling than 
a Stata users' meeting.

The users' meeting enjoys the support of Survey Design and Analysis 
Services, the Australian & New Zealand distributor of Stata.

More detailed information will appear early in the New Year.  If you have 
any questions before that time please contact Dr Adrian Esterman at 
adrian.esterman@flinders.edu.au  (Adrian is on the organising committee for 
the ANZSUG meeting, and will handle queries while I am out of email contact 
from end of this week until Christmas [hiking somewhere in the Tasmanian 
wilderness]).
