Hello all, I'm looking for a function or a routine in Stata7 which would give me the highest scalar of a matrix [n x 1]. For example if I have a matrix such as B[6,1]=(1\2\3\4\5\6) this function should give me a scalar or local with the value 6. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, JP/ * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/res/findit.html * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
