as far as i could see it is not possible to get the old -list- output with no
options
the new -list- with options clean and nocompress gives the old -list- with
option nodisplay
the new -list- with option nocompress only gives a very nasty formatting of
the observations. first there are all these boxes around the variables, but
more importantly variables are no longer aligned in columns and therefore
there is less overview
this new -list- really bothers me, also because i use it all the time
i really hope stata corp considers changing default formatting back to how it
was
