After the event, when asked where the photos are, he
usually says "They didn't come out very well" or
"Chinh (*) says he couldn't do anything with them".

The truth, it can be revealed, falls into two parts.
1. Stata Corp are a very handsome group of people
but it seems that very few photos of them exist
on the internet.
2. Prominent users are on average much less
attractive (t test, p ~ 1e-6). However, averages
must of course not be overinterpreted whenever outliers
exist. It follows that more photos of them exist on the internet.
