has been updated. This is a compilation of
advice from some 21 Stata users, without whom
it wouldn't have attempted, so renewed thanks
for all contributions.
The idea of a collective FAQ is very
simple: somebody write something,
glean a few snippets from Statalist
postings, encourage a few people
to write something themselves, wait
for the extra suggestions to come in,
and so forth: but unlike a chain
letter, interesting and useful.
