Daniel M�ller has SMCL problems.
I don't if this helps his problem, but it's
the one pitfall in SMCL that bites me
occasionally.
Spaces at the end of lines often confuse
the SMCL interpreter in some contexts.
For example,
{smcl}
^
a space at the end of that line
is enough to wreak havoc.
Get weird behaviour? Get into a decent
text editor, and toggle the option which
shows trailing spaces explicitly (or
end-of-lines explicitly).
