Stata 19 is here—explore all the features.
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by Congress in the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, and as revised in 2018, requires that electronic and information technology used by Federal agencies be accessible to people with disabilities.
All of Stata’s features are accessible to persons with disabilities through Stata’s command line interface and plain text output options. In addition, much of Stata's user interface is interoperable with common assistive technologies for vision-impaired users and for portions that are not, functionality can be accessed using the command line interface and plain text output options.
Federal employees or individuals requiring more information on Stata’s Section 508 compliance or with questions about Stata with regard to Section 508, should contact StataCorp at [email protected].
This page provides information about Stata's past Section 508 compliance.
