Hi Al,
It may not be much in the way of help, but I've experience similar problems with adjusting text size in the results/command panes in Windows-based virtual environments. I typically work on a Mac and can 'cmd+' to adjust text size and when things move to the virtual environment (especially for the folks that are working on netbooks/tablets) it is extremely difficult for people to see things easily/clearly.
If you do find any solutions, please let the rest of the list know.
