With many thanks to Kit Baum, the version of - domin - on SSC has been
updated to version 3.
Major updates include:
1] Fit metrics - No longer forced to work with R2 metrics. Any valid
model fit metric can be used. A discussion of what a valid fit metric
would be is included in the help file.
2] Estimation commands - increased flexibility of estimation commands
to be used by - domin -. Any command that follows standard syntax
could potentially be used and other commands can be adapted to fit.
3] Multivariate and mixed effects dominance - allow the user to easily
conduct mutivariate regression-based and linear mixed effects
regression-based dominance analysis using wrapper programs mvdom and
mixdom incorporated into - domin - package. These programs can also
be used as templates to extend domin's functionality to other commands
not yet incorporated.
4] Error fixes - error related to reported number of observations
fixed when strongly collinear variables dropped.
5] Multiple imputation - added multiple imputation support
6] Help file - greatly expanded, clarified, and updated the help file
7] Replay - functionality added to make command work more like
traditional Stata commands (i.e., typing "domin" after a run of
"domin" will replay the results.
As always I welcome suggestions, comments, and encourage users to
contact me with reports of program bugs.
