Subject   st: Is it possible with difgt (from DASP package) to analyse groups keeping the whole population median?

Dear Statalist,

I would like to study the difference between pre-transfers and post-transfers incomes of a certain group. Something like this:

difgt inc_pre_transfers inc_post_transfers, opl1(median) opl2(median) cond1(subgroup of population) cond2(subgroup of population) prop1(50) prop2(50)

The problem is that the medians are calculated from the subgroup of population and not from the whole population.

Best wishes,

Diego Collado
