Thanks to Kit Baum, the following packages are now available on SSC:
1. 'TABLE1': Create "table 1" of baseline characteristics for a manuscript
-table1- generates a "table 1" of characteristics for a manuscript. Such tables are commonly used in medical manuscripts and generally include a collection of baseline characteristics which may be either continuous or categorical. The observations are often grouped, eg "treated" vs "controls", with a p-value column on the right comparing the characteristics between groups. The resulting table can be saved as an Excel file and/or kept in memory, replacing the existing dataset.
2. 'RSORT': Reproducible random sorting of dataset
-rsort- randomly sorts the dataset in memory. This is useful for various situations in which the sort order of the dataset may affect results, such as sampling without replacement in propensity score matching. -rsort- optionally supports reproducible sorting to enable completely reproducible analyses.
3. 'EGFR': Calculate estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)
-egfr- calculates estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) in mL/min based on the serum creatinine and/or cystatin C along with various other variables. The exact variables required depend on the eGFR formula used and the options that the user specifies.
Please contact me with any problems or suggestions for improvement.
