Hello Statalist,
Does anyone have any experience with performing matrix algebra in Stata vs. SAS? I am taking a structural equation modeling course and the course guidelines indicate that SAS will be used for matrix algebra. I am more familiar with and prefer Stata over SAS and am trying to get a sense of whether or not there are any shortcomings that I might encounter using Stata to perform the matrix algebra that will likely be necessary for the course. I have Stata 12.
Thanks in advance for any feedback that you can offer.
