Have you investigated -kapci-
from(http://www.stata-journal.com/software/sj4-4)? I am not sure if it can
be modified to give you the max value, although I imagine that you could use
the upper CI to represent a reasonable upper bound?

I confess that I don't know what a "PABAK score" is, so you may want to
consider describing that when posting, to improve the likelihood of getting
a response from the list.

Finally, it is "Stata", not "STATA"

Subject: st: Kappa Statistic Max Value and Confidence Interval

Hello,

I'm working on a concordance study. Does anyone know if there is a
user command for calculating the maximum attainable kappa value given
the percent agreement between your 2 data sources? My data are 2x2.

Additionally, is there a way to calculate the confidence interval for
a PABAK score in STATA?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Jordan
