One other tidbit: As massive as it is, the Stata documentation is
still incomplete in that there are all sorts of commands and options
that work with version control but are not documented in the current
manuals. That makes it all the more important to include version
commands in your files, because otherwise you may face a daunting
task in figuring out when the command worked and what it did. As for
myself, I have every version of Stata from 7 on installed on my
machine. Not because I use them for statistical work, but because I
check the help files when I am not sure what a command or option
written for an older version of Stata does.
And just in case I wasn't clear before -- I don't think you need
nlogitrum. You just need to use nlogit with version control. It just
looked like you needed nlogitrum because it was using some of the
same options that the older version of nlogit did.

Well then the problem clearly is that in the do-file that I was given,
there is no nlogitrum at all, which is strange because why would there
be that specific predict for nlogitrum then...
