The FAQ, which all members are asked to read before posting, does
explain this.
I am amazed that it got through, but it will mess up the digest for
many readers.
I'll seize this opportunity to repeat my periodic advice to set up an
account with Dropbox or a comparable service (e.g. Box). Dropbox
gives you a minimum of 2GB of free online storage. More critically,
with Dropbox you can set up shared folders or provide links to
specific files, as should have been done in this case. This makes it
much easier when you want others to help you with your research. It
also provides online backup. Every year I seem to have a student
whose hard disk crashes or who accidentally deletes a file; those who
use Dropbox are saved a lot of grief.
For more information go to
https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTI1NjYzODE3OQ?src=global9. Use a
.edu address if you have one as I think you get more free storage
that way. You can also check to see if your University or employer
has already set up a special deal for you.
