Laszlo Sandor ([email protected]) has a question about
"enterprise licensing" and describes an annual network
license of Stata at his organization:

The way Stata annual network licensing works is that you automatically
are sent any new version while your annual license is in effect. So,
all organizations, including Laszlo's, with an annual network license
will receive Stata 13 shortly after it becomes available on June 24.

It is up to each organization to decide when the new version is installed.

In Laszlo's case, his organization has a license which expires June 30,
2013, roughly 1 week after Stata 13 starts shipping. If his organization
renews their license, they will receive Stata 13 once it start shipping
and will receive a new license with an expiration date of June 30, 2014.

If his organization does not renew their license, they will still
receive Stata 13 once it starts shipping on June 24, and their
users will be able to enjoy using it until their license expires
later that week. Their users probably would prefer they renew
the license, however.
