Not true. Using abdata, this works fine:
. xtabond2 n l.n l(0/1).(c.w##c.k) yr1980-yr1984, gmm(l.n w k) iv(yr1980-yr1984, passthru) noleveleq
Perhaps you should
adoupdate xtabond2, update
as you may not have the latest version of the program.
