Subject | st: calculating p value from -proportions- |
Date | Mon, 14 Jan 2013 09:46:30 +0000 |
Hi all, I'm using Stata 11.2 and calculating the proportions in a number of variables e.g. male/female, screen-detected/symptomatic. My data are set up as individual patients rather than counts. Using -proportions- obviously gives me the proportions with CIs. However, is it possible to retrieve p-values from this, or another command as I would like to report p-values is possible? I've taken a look at prtest for instance, but I cant equate these examples to my data.
