Hi,
I'm stuck with how to perform balancing test in diff command.
I performed DID analysis , and this is the result of balancing test
with 1 covariate(health_expen).
Number of observations (baseline): 38
Baseline Follow-up
Control: 37 - 37
Treated: 1 - 1
38 -
t-test at period = 0:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Variable(s) | Mean Control | Mean Treated | Diff. |
|t| | Pr(|T|>|t|)
---------------------+------------------+--------------+------------+---------+---------------
gencost_yr | 1309.432 | 1800.000 | 490.568 |
. | .
health_expen | 48.378 | 63.673 | 15.295 |
2.20 | 0.0277**
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** p<0.01; ** p<0.05; * p<0.1
.
Is this mean that I have to perform DID with 'health_expen' variable?
Why gencost_yr is showed with dot?
When I perform with other variables , they are not significant. Is
this mean that I can't perform DID with the variables?
Thanks in advance.
