I don't know what you mean by "from [S]tata", but what you are
expected to say is indicated by the FAQ. See

I downloaded -fairlie- from SSC, and -which fairlie- shows me

*! version 1.0.6  20may2008  Ben Jann

The examples in the help file run fine for me. Do you see any problem
if you try them?
