Hi all,
I ran into a problem while generating limited predictor after spreg, and I'm wondering if anyone has ever ran into this before. I have a dataset with 47,000 observations, and I plan to generate yhat after I ran "spreg gs2sls" with only spatial error term (I left the "dlmat()" term blank). spreg works just fine, though it takes about 10 mins to generate the spatial weighted matrix and the results on a high-speed server. However, when I run this command after spreg:
predict yhat, limited
The server ran for more than 60 hours before I forced it to stop, and no result is yet generated. It shouldn't be due to the computer's lack of calculating power, since there's no problem generating spatial weighted matrix. I am wondering if anyone has ever run into this kind of problems before, and whether there is any solution available. Thank you!
Lin-Han
