Dear Stata Users,
thanks to Kit Baum an updated version of -stcompet- is now available on
the SSC Archive.
-stcompet- estimates the cumulative incidence in the presence of
competing risks.
In the updated version of the command the option -allignol- has been added.
When -allignol- is specified the log-log confidence bounds of the
cumulative incidence (CI) are computed after transforming the CI in 1-CI
as suggested by Lin (1997) and by Allignol (2010).
Confidence bounds computed by -stcompet- are then exactly equal to those
obtained with -etm- package in R.
Bets wishes
Enzo
