Than you are not looking in the right books. A random sample from the
books that litter my desk:
Richard Breen (1996) Regression models: Censored, sample selected, or
truncated data. Thousand Oaks: Sage.
J. Scott Long (1997) Regression models for categorical and limited
dependent variables. Thousand Oaks: Sage.
G.S. Maddala (1983) Limited dependent and qualitative variables in
econometrics. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press.
There is also a list of references in the manual entry of -tobit- if
these books are not to your liking.
