Thanks to Kit Baum, a new version of the -mcmcstats- package is now
available on SSC. To install for the first time, type -ssc install
mcmcstats-. To update an existing copy, type -adoupdate mcmcstats,
update-.
-mcmcstats- provides two commands for analyzing results from MCMC
estimation. -mcmcconverge- calculates convergence statistics for
scalar estimands. -mcmcsummarize- calculates summary statistics of the
marginal distribution of scalar estimands. In the new version, I have
rewritten -mcmcconverge- to run faster for models with many
parameters.
