st: New package copycode available on SSC

Dear all,

Thanks to Kit Baum the newly written package -copycode- is available for
download on SSC.  -copycode- is a code managing tool that tries to ease code
production, code maintenance,  and code distribution.  It may be of interest
to Stata users who do extensive ado-file programming.

The package is a  reworked version of a draft that I presented at the German
Stata Users Group Meeting back in June.  The slides from the meeting can be

The package has a long help file so reading the slides may well be the
quickest introduction.  The help file then contains many details that are
skipped in the slides.  Also, the command syntax has changed slightly and
some features have been added since June.  In all cases, the help file
provides the up-to-date reference.
