Thanks to Kit Baum a bug fix of the -simpplot- package is now available from SSC. It can be installed by typing in Stata -ssc install simpplot, replace- or -adoupdate, update- when a previous version of -simpplot- has already been installed, or by typing -ssc install simpplot- when -simpplot- has not yet been installed. This new version fixes a bug with the -by()- option that resulted in an incorrect region of acceptance. simpplot- describes the p-values returned by a simulation experiment by plotting for each possible nominal significance level the deviation from that significance level. Additionally it also plots the region in which one would expect most experiments to remain it the test that is being simulated is well behaved and if you were repeating that experiment many times. Examples of these simulations and graphs can be seen here: <http://www.maartenbuis.nl/software/simpplot.html>. -- Maarten -------------------------- Maarten L.
