I would like to use a laptop on which I can use Stata with say 4000m of memory. In my current laptop, I can only access 1197m at the maximum. I know that even if I deleted files from my laptop, I would not be able to get past 1197. My question is if I can use a laptop on which I only use it for Stata, what should that laptop be so I can have more Stata memory? I am using Stata 11.1 SE.
