Hello,
I will try to explain with more details. I was conducting a multicollinearity diagnostic analysis for a logistic regression using spearman correlation and VIF. Important detail:All the covariates are binary variables.Considering that when both(2) variables are dichotomous, a Pearson correlation coefficient is equivalent to the phi coefficient and to Spearman coefficient, would not be wrong write in the statistical analysis text(topic) that multicollinearity was conducted using spearman correlation or I have to change the words “spearman correlation” to “Phi coefficient”(in the text) to be 100% correct in terms of methodology description.?
REgards,
Marcos.
