Dear All
I'm applying the command NLSUR. I wonder how to choose the initial values
points [initial values for parameters] to achieve the best solution. I have
observed that different initial values lead to different results ...
For example:
nlsur .. , initial(a0 0.1 a1 0.2 a2 0.5) and nlsur .. ,
initial(a0 0.1 a1 0.1 a2 0.1) lead to different results .
Anyone can help me?
Thank you
Pedro Carvalho
