In Stata 12 you can do this with the sheet() and cell() options from -export excel-:
export_excel_options Description
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main
sheet("sheetname") save to Excel worksheet
cell(start) start (upper-left) cell in Excel to begin saving to
