Thanks to Kit Baum,
A new version of wbopendata is available for download.
ssc install wbopendata
The main features of this new release are:
(1) Updated list of indicators, with more than 5,200 series of yearly
or quarterly indicators drawing from a range of themes and topics
(2) Meta data information of the indicator is now available on the
Stata screen(default option)
(3) Users can select indicators and countries at the same time.
wbopendata draws from the main World Bank collections of development
indicators, compiled from officially-recognized international sources.
It presents the most current and accurate global development data
available, and includes national, regional and global estimates.
The access to this databases is made possible by the World Bank's Open
Data Initiative which provide open full access to World Bank
databases.
Thanks from comments and suggestions, some additional bugs identified
in the previous version were also fixed.
Best,
JP
