Thank you, Nick. I have just reinstalled Stata on my 64-bit machine and
downloaded the latest version of xtabond2 again and everything seems to be
working properly now (the results are the same on both machines now) so I
guess it was a problem with the setup. I do appreciate your advice though.

Please also confirm that the version of Stata is exactly the same on both
machines.
Can you confirm that 33 observations are excluded in one instance and
otherwise the same1248 are included? Are there any other observations in the
dataset? Is there anything problematic about the 33? Does
-xtabond2- issue warning messages in either case?
If you don't get a solution to this, I suggest that you contact the author
directly. He may wish to borrow a copy of the dataset.
