st: Can I impose constraints on dummies created with -xi-?

Dear members,
After I construct categories or interactions using -xi- I would like Stata:
- to constrain one or more of the category dummies to be either equal or to be zero.
- to constrain one or more of the interaction terms to be either equal or to be zero.
For example, if I use -xi: regress y i.z*x - and z has five categories, I would like to omit dummy _Iz_3, for example, and constrain _Iz_2 and _4 to be equal. I would like to proceed with some of the interaction terms likewise. I use Stata v.10 if that matters.
Thanks!
Thomas
