Thanks Maarten! Yes, it is in the area of quantitative research, I am
working in clinical research (rheumatology).
I will keep an eye on next year's courses. I haven't found any information
on non-linear modeling techniques, but will explore it further and contact
the faculty.
If someone else has any other place offering such courses, please let me
know

In many disciplines such courses are offered in the form of summer schools,
e.g. within (quantitative) social sciences PhD students tend to go either to
Essex (UK) or Ann Arbor (USA). See respectively:
