Thanks to Kit Baum, a revised version of -rev(v)- is available from SSC.
Last week there was some confusion about the program's name on the
list (http://www.stata.com/statalist/archive/2011-08/msg00689.html).
Following Nick's suggestion I changed the name to -rev- (borrowed from
his same-named -egenodd - [findit egenodd] function from 1999).
-rev- reverses the values of variables and their respective value
labels. It does everything -revv- did (and a little bit more) and will
work with Stata version 9.2 or higher.
In Stata type
. ssc inst rev
to install the program.
