Dear statalist,
I am investigating the effect of the exposure to certain events in three groups of people
independent variable = event exposure(continuum)
dependent variable = psych symptoms (continuum)
Now, the main analysis is a regression concerning the group x event exposure interaction effect. I want to know how large my sample size needs to be for an effect size of around .4 and a power of .8.
How can I calculate this?
Regards,
Nathalie
