st: pre-set the ancillary paramaters in a parametric survival model

Dear all,
somebody knows if it is possible to previously set the ancillary paramaters in a parametric survival model? I would like to study the performance of a given theoretical model (eg, weibull with p=0.5) in a serial of samples by calculating residuals as a result of comparing the theoretical model with the observed data.
Thanks in advance!!!!
