-- I forgot my own advice earlier to use the -if- option, Richard. It often makes little difference and I can't get excited by a slight under-estimate, if any, for the p-value of a goodness-of-fit statistic. The null hypothesis (perfect fit?) isn't realistic to begin with. I know that is frowned upon, but if the alternative is to do nothing at all, which is better? ------------------------------------------- Richard Williams, Notre Dame Dept of Sociology OFFICE: (574)631-6668, (574)631-6463 HOME: (574)289-5227 EMAIL: Richard.A.Williams.5@ND.Edu WWW: http://www.nd.edu/~rwilliam * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/ * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
