Dear StataCorp, apologies for using the statalist; please do point out if there is a better place to post such a query. I have reasons to believe that the help file for -scheme axes- has a small mistake: The command given is Axis line These entries control the look of the axis line. entry description ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- color tickline colorstyle color of axis line However, only the following line produces my intended outcome: > color axisline colorstyle Perhaps you can comment.
