Thanks to Kit Baum a new version of -rct_minim- is now available on the SSC
server. [findit rct_minim]
-rct_minim- produces randomisation schedules for covariate adaptive
controlled trials.
A bug was introduced in the last version (2.1.0): a typo I made naming a
matrix would, under certain circumstances, lead to a non-randomised
imbalance in treatment allocations. The bug would affect the output of the
program if either ?range? or ?thresh? were specified as arguments of the
mchoice option (which controls the method for measuring imbalance in
prognostic factors). Versions prior to 2.1.0 would be unaffected. The new
version (2.2.0) fixes the problem.
Apologies for any inconvenience. Thanks to Paul Silcocks at the University
of Liverpool for discovering the problem and helping test the fix.
