Dear all,
My question is in the name of the thread - how do I carry out the
"Chi-square test for the joint significance of slope coefficients" in Stata?
Thanks.
The question is a little vague. Do you mean a likelihood ratio chi
square test? How about something like
webuse auto
nestreg, lr: reg price (weight mpg foreign)
or maybe you mean something like
nestreg, lr: reg price weight (mpg foreign)
Or, if you have Long & Freese's -spost9- commands installed,
reg price weight mpg foreign
fitstat
If this isn't what you want, please clarify.
