Dear Statalisters: I have a panel data (panel_1) with information on patients corresponding to medical visits (physician-patient encounter). I also have data (panel_2) with information on lab and procedures from these patients, but with dates that do not match with medical visit dates. I would like to merge observaciones from panel_2 into panel_1 only if the dates are within (± 30 days) of the medical visit dates.
