Dear All,
Timberlake Consultants Ltd , the official distributor of Stata in the UK would like to invite you to attend the following 3-Day course to be held at Cambridge University on the 11 - 13 January 2011. The sessions will be taught by Dr Melvyn Weeks (Cambridge).
This course provides a review and practical guide to a number of micro-econometric models and estimators. We focus on panel and count data models and also examine a broad class of models of discrete choice behavior. The course emphasizes two estimators, the instrumental variable estimator, and the Generalised Method of Moments. The objective of the course is to provide a solid introduction to each of the topics, reviewing both the theoretical econometrics and the empirical literature. Each topic discussed is then illustrated with real data examples using Stata 11.
Early bird, student and academic discounts are available and registration includes the use of a computer, comprehensive course notes, lunch & refreshments etc.
Further information can be found on this link http://www.timberlake.co.uk/Training/stata-111101.php
We look forward to welcoming you to the course.
