How about using -corr2data-, see
http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?corr2data
to convert the correlation matrix into a dataset, and then you can use commands like
-pcorr- on the dataset?
I hope that helps,

Hi,
Do you know whether there exists a Stata command that can report the partial correlations
directly from the correlation matrix. I only have the correlation matrix, not the
underlying variables. I consequently cannot use the commands pcorr, pcorr2, or pcorrmat.
To be specific, I have a correlation matrix with 11 variables (y and x1-x10). I am
interested in the partial correlations of y and x given the remaining x'es (for all x'es).
Best wishes,
Kristian
