You do not state which Stata version you are using. However, the ability
to use various fonts on the same graph became available in Stata Version
11. If you have Stata Version 11, then type
help graph_text
and Stata will tell you more.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes

Dear Statalist,
I am using the scatter command to creat a graph. It takes a lot of
time, but one manages to create nice graphs. One thing that I do not
seem to resolve is how to italicize a portion of the title. Here is a
portion of the code that I use within the "scatter" command: ....
title("Panel A - Sensitivity of Tobin's q to Secured Market Leverage"
" ", color(black) size(medium)) .... I like to make the appearance of
the "q" in the title italic. I have spent hours with the scatter help
without any success. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Erasmo
